Tenacious. It describes Mauricio in many aspects of life. His personality. His work ethic. It’s why he’s such an exceptional engineer and why we knew he’d be a perfect fit at Hafer.

Mauricio loves the design aspect of his job, thinking and rethinking different parts of an electrical system to ensure it will work correctly. He also enjoys seeing his designs come to life. For him, no project is too big or too small, as long as he is helping to improve people’s quality of life.

A San Diego-native, Mauricio is involved with the International WeLoveU Foundation, an NGO that provides community service activities in more than 67 countries. He plays the piano and guitar (is pondering the violin) and can usually be found spending time with his wife, Jakayla, or working on various personal projects.
