Amy has been with the firm since 2004 and has proven herself as a talented electrical engineer. Boasting a complementary balance of design, technical and communications skills, Amy excels at managing project teams, problem solving and ensuring clients are happy. The smile she brings to the office each day is contagious, making her a valuable colleague at Hafer.

Not only does Amy bring her skills to the office but she shares her talents with numerous professional and community organizations. She is currently serving as Chair for Council of Fellows with the National Society of Professional Engineers and is on the Board of Directors for NSPE's National Engineers Week. Amy is also on the Board of Directors for Lampion Center and has served multiple roles on the Board of Directors for Indiana Society of Professional Engineers, Past President as one of them.

Her hard work and determination has also been recognized through awards locally, regionally and nationally. We love to share that Amy has been acclaimed as one of the Top 20 Under 40 Award for Engineering News Record Midwest, as Indiana Society of Professional Engineers Indiana Young Engineer of the Year and also in Evansville’s Top 20 Under 40. Additionally, Amy received the 2015 NSPE President's Award, a national honor given to only one President annually.

Growing up in Cincinnati, we can’t blame Amy for her devotion to the Cincinnati Reds and Cincinnati Bengals. We’re just glad her education led her to attend the University of Evansville which is also the city she decided to plant her roots and start a blossoming career. When not working, Amy makes it a priority to spend valuable time with her husband Clay and their two sons. Their favorite place to travel is Hawaii and after each vacation there, they come home and start planning their next trip.
