Newburgh Chandler Public Library Featured in Building Excellence

From outdated in the '80s  to bustling with life in the 21st Century, one of our most recent library projects is gaining some recognition. 

The Newburgh Chandler Public Library project wrapped up this year and it was one we were very happy to complete. Hafer designed the original building in the 1980s and now we've redesigned it to meet the needs of libraries today. Jack Faber, Principal, Architect + Designer, took the opportunity to bring new life into the space and that's the focus of the article, Shifting Focus, in Building Excellence

Jack said, “All of these design choices were made with the idea that a library is no longer just a warehouse of knowledge – it now has a hospitality aspect to it.”
