Jason Southwell Named President of Columbus Rotary

Hafer Interior Designer Jason Southwell was recently installed as President of the Columbus Rotary. Jason has been with Hafer for nearly 17 years and took the helm of Hafer’s Columbus, Ohio, office in 2021. He’s been involved with the Columbus Rotary since, as a member, a board member and now as club president.

He was previously involved with Rotary International through the Rotaract Club of Evansville, where he served on its board of directors for nearly a decade.

The Columbus Rotary is part of Rotary International, “an organization of business and professional leaders united worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.” The Columbus Rotary, chartered in 1912, includes more than 150 business and community leaders.

In his new role, Jason looks forward to deepening the club’s legacy of service and creating lasting, positive change in the community.

“I’m honored to step into this role and continue the important work of Columbus Rotary,” he said. “It’s a privilege to serve alongside such dedicated leaders and to help make a tangible difference in the Columbus community by living out the Rotary motto, "Service Above Self.”
