Jack Faber, AIA
Principal, Architect + Designer
Jack’s early career began as an Assistant Professor of Architecture at Ball State University’s College of Architecture and Planning. But he could not hold back his desire to design projects that have a positive impact on the real world, so he joined the industry as a designer first working in Indianapolis. After marrying his wife, Laura, and having two children, the Faber’s relocated to Evansville to be close to family. This is when Jack’s career began with Hafer.
Jack is one of the most creative, “think outside of the box” designers in the area. He is fueled by a desire for design excellence and a belief that every project begins with a story. He understands the importance of storytelling in designing authentic, engaging experiences. He finds joy in having the opportunity to truly improve the lives of the people who live, work and inhabit the environments he creates.
As a devoted servant leader, Jack serves as a mentor to young designers both in and outside the firm and finds time to gives back to his community. His recent involvement includes the Board of Directors for the Evansville Rotary, Leadership Everyone, American Institute of Architects and Boy Scouts of America. He also serves as the secretary on the Board of Trustees for the Evansville Museum.
