Tropicana Evansville

Cavanaugh’s, located on the top floor of the Tropicana Evansville Casino, is an upscale steakhouse with impressive views of the Ohio River. Cavanaugh’s needed to create more dining space with this renovation, but also wished to modernize the interior space to create a contemporary, inviting atmosphere.

A larger bar and lounge space with more seating was incorporated near the entrance of the restaurant. The overall space now incorporates all new modern furniture, a custom fireplace with fire ribbon, custom liquor displays with LED up lights, and a custom reception desk with column treatments. One of the exciting changes to Cavanaugh’s is the all glass entry that features a custom entry bulkhead and signage along with a new tile floor featuring a custom pattern.

It was important that Cavanaugh’s remained open during construction and experienced the least amount of disruption as possible. In order to meet the schedule, the project was completed on a fast track schedule. Amazingly, Cavanaugh’s experienced an increase in sales even during the renovation. This has also been the case after the completion of the renovation. In fact, sales have increased dramatically ever since. The renovation has contributed to Cavanaugh’s reestablishing the restaurant as the premium restaurant in Southwest Indiana.
