Newlife Rescue & Adoption is more than just a stop along the way — it’s a place of comfort, calm and care for rescued animals as they find their forever homes. Guided by the belief that every animal deserves a safe and loving environment, Newlife’s mission finds stronger support in the design for a new facility.

Thoughtfully designed to support cats and dogs of all shapes and sizes, the new building offers a warm and efficient space tailored to their well-being. Dogs will enjoy spacious kennels suited to both large and small breeds, with dedicated rooms for grooming and exams. Roof-mounted solar panels will support energy efficiency and additional heating and cooling units separate air circulation from cats, dogs and support staff. Because play is part of the healing process, the facility plans include sunny outdoor spaces: dogs will frolic in fenced yards, while cats stretch and explore safely in the airy, outdoor but enclosed “catio.”

Visitors and future pet parents will enjoy a welcoming experience as they meet animals and discover their perfect match. Inside, a welcoming cat den invites curious cats to strut their stuff and connect with potential adopters through tall windows that open into the lobby. A large visitation room makes it possible for adoptees to connect with animals one-on-one. The facility also includes support spaces for volunteers and staff, providing access to a bright office, laundry and supply rooms, and a small kitchenette.

When constructed, the new facility will do more than house rescue animals, it will offer them hope and welcome their future families with open arms.
