Newburgh Chandler Public Library

The small but well-loved Newburgh Downtown Library, part of the Newburgh Chandler Public Library system, is set to receive a major renovation that will enhance comfort, functionality and overall appeal. The upgrades will create a more inviting space for patrons to utilize services and gather together.

The project will include new finishes, furniture and lighting to refresh the overall library environment. The history and genealogy room will be expanded to also serve as a new meeting space and will feature a dedicated HVAC unit to provide proper temperature and humidity control, ensuring the preservation of archival materials.

Located along the Ohio River, the library offers stunning water views through its riverfront windows. The renovation highlights this connection with a striking accent ceiling inspired by the river and enhanced with integrated lighting.

The library is eager to get construction started so patrons benefit from the new upgrades as quickly as possible.
