Tri-County YMCA & City of Jasper

The new Jasper Regional Wellness Center will enrich the already blossoming community of Jasper, IN. Before this project, the area lacked a centralized location for community health and wellness. Now, the new Jasper Regional Wellness Center will be a beacon for all ages with its location between the local high school and the Jasper Parklands, a popular outdoor recreation site. The building is set into the hillside and designed to evoke the sense of wilderness found in a park reserve to complement the existing parkland structures. The project is a partnership between the Tri-County YMCA and the City of Jasper.

The new facility will support the many forms of wellness—physical, social, and emotional. The sports and wellness amenities include three full-size basketball courts, one auxiliary gym, an elevated track with a view of the gyms, and various exercise studios. The community engagement facilities inside the wellness center will promote wellness, connection, and learning through various programs and classes offered in the community kitchen and teen/intergenerational center. Also included are administrative offices and a dedicated space for future partnerships with regional healthcare services offering various therapy types. The facility is thoughtfully branded with splashes of YMCA’s teal and wood textures and cool tones throughout.
