Granted

House of Hope

Granted’s new House of Hope will offer not only hope, but also joy, magic and wonder. Designed as a sanctuary for children with terminal or life-threatening illnesses and their families, this retreat will feature a colorful and fun, yet home-like atmosphere, and allow Granted to continue granting wishes to these children and their families, just like the Evansville nonprofit has done for nearly 40 years.

Throughout the House of Hope grounds will be magical, lush gardens; a walking path; family pavilion; and inclusive play areas designed for children of all ages and abilities. Inside, the House of Hope will feature therapy rooms, a sensory room, and a communal kitchen and dining area where families can bond over shared meals. Recreational spaces such as a teen lounge and music room will provide entertainment and relaxation, with areas dedicated to arts and crafts, gaming, movie nights and more.

The House of Hope will be a beacon of comfort and respite, allowing families to create precious memories together away from the stress of medical treatments.
