Liberty Federal Credit Union

In the midst of years of significant growth, Liberty Federal Credit Union took on this project to provide needed additional service and support spaces to expand their headquarters’ campus and support their forward momentum.

The new Liberty Center addition features three stories and 23,000 square feet of private and open offices, training spaces, customer support services, and the information technology and facilities departments. Along with a breakroom on each floor, the design includes wellness rooms that support working moms with comfortable furniture, convenient refrigerators and sinks.

Blending seamlessly with the campus, the new Liberty Center echoes the curved architecture with timeless yet modern precast concrete and expansive windows. The design harnesses natural light, subtle neutrals and warm accents to create an uplifting and fresh experience. A pedestrian two-story connector links the addition to the existing campus and overlooks a landscaped courtyard that serves as a gathering place to enjoy the fresh air. Employees have more opportunities to enjoy the campus grounds with a walking path that surrounds the property’s retaining pond. Along the path is a memorial tree for a beloved member of Liberty FCU’s IT department, where staff and visitors can sit along the surrounding seat wall and pause for a moment of remembrance.
