St. Anselm Hall Renovation

Saint Meinrad Archabbey and the Saint Meinrad Seminary & School of Theology recently completed renovations and upgrades to St. Anselm Hall. Renovations included finish upgrades throughout the hall, along with new lighting, electrical and mechanical systems. The renovations also allowed for the creation of the Center for Youth and Young Adult Evangelization on the first floor, which includes a lounge, conference room, offices and a check-in office for youth and young adult ministries. The adjacent dining hall was also refreshed on the first floor.

On the lower level, the development office, health services and other spaces were upgraded with new finishes and furniture, providing a more inviting and comfortable workplace for staff. Dorm rooms on the second and third floor also received new carpeting and finishes, as well as new-and-improved laundry facilities.

The entire building was upgraded to energy-efficient mechanical and electrical systems that will improve sustainability, save on utility costs and allow better control of temperatures throughout the year. Upgrades to St. Anselm Hall incorporate modern amenities for the Benedictine community while preserving their past and helping them to continue their mission.
