Jasper Parklands

Formerly the Jasper Country Club golf course, Jasper Parklands is a natural oasis for the community to enjoy. The Parklands serves not only as a park, but as a destination that everyone from the very young to old will appreciate.

Designed in conjunction with Rundell Ernstberger Associates, this 75-acre park contains several amenities including a 2-mile walking trail around the perimeter of the property, a splash pad featuring water spouts and stone wall seating, and an adventure playground with rock columns and wood beams for children to climb and explore. Three bodies of water are connected by cascades and streams containing pumps to keep the water gently flowing between them. Located alongside one of the lakes is a pavilion complete with a kitchen and restrooms to hold a group of up to 100 people for events. The most iconic feature of the Parklands is a large 150-foot bridge that serves as a gathering place with views of the natural prairie and wetlands.

The first week the Parklands opened, over 4,000 people came to enjoy it. The visitors exclaimed how amazing the park was and how it will surely become a regional destination in Indiana.
