Bethel Church

Following the acquisition of a neighboring school building, Bethel Church on Evansville’s east side set out to expand its youth ministry programs with a dynamic and engaging new environment.

The proposed design introduces a welcoming new entryway where families can conveniently check in their children using electronic kiosks. The goal is to create an immersive and inspiring experience for children the moment they arrive.

Every space is thoughtfully designed with a connection to nature. The nursery and toddler rooms feature a whimsical woodland theme, complete with animal illustrations and playful graphics. For older children, the natural theme continues through a calming palette of greens, blues and grays.

The space dedicated to teens and middle schoolers emphasizes flexibility and function. It includes a spacious area for worship, a stage, a coffee bar, a podcasting station, and other amenities to foster community and creativity.

If built, these new spaces will significantly enhance Bethel Church’s ability to serve its youngest members, creating meaningful experiences and fostering spiritual growth in new ways.
