New Facility
This transformative 60,000 SF, two-story community wellness and aquatics center is more than a building—it is a long-term investment in the health, connection, and vitality of Daviess County and surrounding communities. Designed to meet the needs of today while anticipating generations to come, the project replaces an outdated facility the community had simply outgrown with a new, purpose-built destination for wellness, recreation, and togetherness.
The center brings together aquatics, fitness, and holistic wellness under one roof, featuring indoor recreational swimming, a fully equipped wellness area, and innovative spaces like an American Ninja Warrior–style Ninja Zone and flexible party rooms. Partner spaces for mental health therapy address a critical community need, supporting both physical and emotional well-being.
Youth-focused amenities—including a STEM teen area, summer camp spaces, and a chapel/gathering room—create opportunities for learning, connection, and belonging. Strong partnerships with the YMCA and local school corporations expand the center’s reach and impact.
Connected physically and visually to a historic baseball field, the project includes trails and a universal outdoor court for multiple sports, reinforcing the center’s role as a vibrant hub for health, wellness, and togetherness—now and for generations to come.
