Pike County realizes the importance of retaining strong, local talent in their community. These talented individuals are responsible for spurring economic development through creation of new business and partnerships. With this knowledge, Pike County decided to build a facility that would provide physical space for these individuals to think, create and share.
The Buchta Entrepreneurship and Technology Center will provide a modern business incubator that offers co-working space, prototyping capabilities, and essential equipment for start-up businesses. It will contain a mix of open offices, makerspaces, training rooms, and lounges with room for future expansion. The building will also contain outdoor space for working or relaxing.
This project is currently under construction and is set to open in the Fall of 2020.
