The Cox Group provides warehousing services and third-party logistics for its clients. They build and operate warehousing and distribution facilities and provide transportation, manufacturing, technology and asset management services allowing their clients to focus on capital management.
With immense growth over the past several years, The Cox Group decided to build a new corporate headquarters in the prominent town square of Mt Vernon. The design features a modern two-story office building with a mix of brick, architectural metal panels, ACM panels and limestone along the exterior with a glass atrium in the center. The hospitality-inspired interior design incorporates high-end finishes with warm neutrals and gold accents. The interiors includes a staircase made of walnut slabs with a glass railing, sliding glass doors, and a brick feature wall in the two-story lobby. An outdoor patio provides employees with an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors for lunch, meetings or breaks.
Expected to be complete in the summer of 2020, this office building will offer both open and private offices, large executive offices, several conference rooms, a breakroom, and other support spaces. Both employees of The Cox Group and residents of Mt. Vernon are excited about the transformation this building will create for their town.
