Centre Court

Centre Court, a new indoor and outdoor tennis complex nestled in Russell Shifley Park, provides the City of Owensboro with a wide array of opportunities for the local community. The facility attracts large USTA tournaments which brings business to the local economy. Centre Court also provides programs for all ages and abilities, promoting a healthy and active lifestyle for the public regardless of skill level.

Included in the tennis facility are six indoor courts that meet USTA regulations for tournament play, central viewing areas from the main level and the mezzanine directly above, office space, concessions and a tennis shop. There are also nine outdoor tennis courts open to the public, which also meet USTA regulations.

Centre Court has been a much-appreciated addition to the quality-of-life attractions the City of Owensboro provides. The facility filled a great need in the community to deliver a high-quality tennis facility to be enjoyed by everyone.
